英語の物語
最初は日本語を見ず、分からない部分だけ開いてみましょう。At lunch time, Yu opened his blue bento box. He expected rice balls and chicken. But inside, he found cute pink rice and little carrot stars.
Across the classroom, Mio opened her pink bento box and frowned. “This is not mine,” she said. “Whose bento is this?” Yu raised his hand slowly.
They put the boxes side by side. The food was switched, but the boxes were not. Mio's lunch was in Yu's box, and Yu's lunch was in Mio's box.
Their teacher listened carefully. “Did anyone touch the boxes?” she asked. A class hamster slept near the lunch shelf. A small piece of carrot was beside its cage.
Mio laughed. “Maybe he wanted both lunches.” Yu looked at the hamster and said, “Then this mystery is his.” The teacher helped them switch the lunches back.
Yu tasted his rice ball and smiled. Mio gave the hamster one tiny carrot star. After that day, the class called him Detective Ham. Under the lunch shelf, Mio found a note in blue ink: TOMORROW, YOU CHOSE THE BLUE BOX. She did not know the handwriting. “Another joke,” she said, and put it in her pocket.

switch は「交換する」。back が付くと「元の状態へ戻す」感じが出ます。

whose は「誰の」。持ち物の持ち主を聞く時に使います。

名詞を繰り返さずに「〜のもの」と言えます。my は名詞が必要ですが、mine は単独で使えます。
