英語の物語
最初は日本語を見ず、分からない部分だけ開いてみましょう。Taro bought the same canned coffee from the vending machine near his school every morning. He always pressed the same button, third from the left.
One morning, the can dropped before Taro touched the button. A small blue light blinked once near the coin slot, then went dark.
“This machine is broken,” Taro told his friend Riku. Riku shook his head. “That machine has always looked exactly like that, for years,” he said. Taro was sure it was new.
That afternoon, a technician came to check the machine. He wore a glove only on his left hand. Taro noticed a badge on his jacket, but the man covered it quickly. Only the letters “...IVISION” were visible.
“These machines learn habits,” the technician said quietly, without looking up. After he left, the machine worked normally again. Taro had to press the button before his coffee arrived.
That evening, Taro found the receipt from that strange morning in his pocket. The printed time said 7:13, although the sun had barely risen. He did not throw it away.
