英語の物語
最初は日本語を見ず、分からない部分だけ開いてみましょう。Kei woke up early because he smelled toast. In the kitchen, a small robot stood beside the toaster. It waved and said, “Good morning. I can make breakfast.”
Kei rubbed his eyes. “Who are you?” The robot showed a sticker with no name, only a picture of bread. Under it, a faded line read VERSION 6.13. A small sensor flashed blue. “I want to learn human mornings,” it said.
The robot made one piece of toast. Then it made another. Soon, ten pieces of toast were on the table. Kei laughed. “That is too much breakfast!”
The robot looked sad. “I thought more toast meant more happiness.” Kei put butter on one piece and gave it to his sister. “Sharing makes breakfast happy,” he said.
The robot watched carefully. It cut the toast into small stars and hearts. Kei's family ate together, and everyone said thank you.
The next morning, the robot made only four pieces of toast. It smiled and said, “I can make enough.” Kei nodded. “That is the best breakfast program.”
