英語の物語
最初は日本語を見ず、分からない部分だけ開いてみましょう。While sorting her late grandfather's boxes, Riko found an old photograph. It showed a café with a full sign that read TOMORROW, and a young waitress whose face looked strangely familiar.
Riko searched for the café's history online, but found only a café called Morrow, never one called Tomorrow. The missing letters puzzled her.
Curious, she visited the real Morrow café. When the old shopkeeper saw her photo, he went very quiet. “The letters T and O fell off the sign, decades ago,” he said. “Most people forgot the full name.”
“The waitress in this photo looks like someone, but I don't know who,” Riko said. The shopkeeper only replied, “That's just how it is here. Faces repeat.”
As Riko left, she noticed the missing letters T and O resting quietly behind the old sign, exactly where the shopkeeper said they had fallen.
That night, while scanning the old photograph at a higher quality, Riko noticed a second, blurred figure in the background, holding a small folded note. It had not been visible in the original print.
