英語の物語
最初は日本語を見ず、分からない部分だけ開いてみましょう。Airi's grandmother left a worn recipe card for vegetable soup. At the bottom, in faded blue ink, it said, “You will have eaten this soup already, but make it anyway.”
The strange grammar confused Airi, but her little brother had a cold. That evening, she followed the recipe exactly and made the soup for him.
Her brother took one spoonful and stopped. “This tastes exactly like something I already had,” he said slowly. “But I don't remember when.”
Airi picked up the recipe card again. Beneath the first sentence, a new line had appeared in the same blue ink: “Good. Keep the bowl by the window tonight.”
Unsure but curious, Airi placed the empty bowl by the window before bed. In the morning, the bowl was spotless, although no one had touched it during the night.
On the back of the card, Airi wrote her own note in black ink: “I will trust the next line, whenever it comes.” She placed the card back in the recipe box, exactly where her grandmother had kept it.

exactly where
まさにその場所にShe placed it exactly where her grandmother had kept it.祖母がいつも置いていたのと同じ場所に、それを戻しました。
場所を強調する時に exactly を付け加えます。

This tastes exactly like something I already had.これ、前に食べたことがある味と全く同じです。主語 + already + 過去形/過去分詞
already は「すでに」。ここでは過去形と一緒に使われ、以前の経験を強調しています。

主語を省略し、動詞の原形から始めることで、直接的な指示になります。
